Science Technician - Chemistry Specialism – South East London – ASAP or September start – Temp to perm opportunity
A secondary school in South East London is looking for a science technician to join their team. This is a full time, term time only role available on a temp – perm basis. Salary is between £11 - £15 per hour depending on experience.

About the Role
The school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic science technician to provide support to the Senior Science Technician and teaching staff across Biology, Chemistry and Physics from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. The successful technician will ideally have a Chemistry Specialism and be able to take ownership of the Chemistry laboratories, but will be required to support across all three sciences as required.
Key Requirements
The successful applicant will have a degree in science - preferably Chemistry. Previous experience in a school or lab based role will be highly regarded, but is not essential. The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of health and safety in the workplace including COSSH and CLEAPSS.
